As you arrive at your office in the morning, you find it clean, sanitary, and orderly, ready for you to begin your workday.  You know that CBN was working for you last night.

Primarily a commercial janitorial service, CBN is also a full-service building maintenance provider.  Although we can customize our service specifications to even the most Spartan of needs, our forte is serving clients who appreciate the added value of a program which includes periodic tile floor burnishing and refinishing ("waxing"), carpet cleaning and protecting, window washing, wood floor maintenance, and ceramic floor scrubbing and refinishing.  We include 'most everything you'll need; you avoid unbudgeted expenses.

• Service for facilities from less than a thousand to over 50,000 square feet.

• Cleaning programs with customized service specifications and cleaning schedules, ranging from one to seven nights per week.

• Services to a wide variety of clients, from image conscious financial institutions and ultra-clean medical plazas to heavily trafficked, difficult-to-maintain manufacturing plants.

• References available on request.

• Night time hands-on inspections.

• Daytime facility inspections (to better see your facility as you see it) on a monthly basis, or at client's request.

• Phones answered and managers available 24/7; e-mail available for convenient, accurate communication.

• Valley-wide service since 1974

Periodic services (carpet cleaning, tile burnishing, scrubbing and refinishing, window washing) are prescheduled and pro-rated as part of your monthly invoice to help maintain the appearance and safety of your facility.

Carpeting

Don’t put off carpet cleaning until the appearance has badly deteriorated, with discolored traffic areas and spills.  Cleaning long-neglected carpeting becomes a big job, taking extra time and chemical.  Neglected carpeting also requires more frequent replacement.  Following a regular, frequent schedule of carpet maintenance pays dividends in the long run.

Vinyl tile flooring

Vinyl tile also requires regular maintenance – to retain appearance and to help provide a safe, injury free workplace.  While glossy floors may look slippery, modern floor finishes meet or exceed Federal standards for traction, even when wet; they are more slip resistant than bare tile.

Frequent burnishing (high speed polishing) hardens the finish; harder finish wears longer, so needs less frequent recoating.  Burnishing is quick and inexpensive; recoating is not.  As a bonus, the floor looks better ongoing.

Non-skid “wax” and your safety

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) specifies a coefficient of friction of .6 on flat surfaces and .8 on ramps.  With these recommendations in place, the concept of slip resistance has basically been elevated to a civil right.  Right now, the static coefficient of friction of .5 is seen as legal and enforceable benchmark for slip resistant pedestrian walkways.

(March 1999, Safety and Health, p. 62, “Slip Resistance Standards:  Sorting it all Out”, Barrett C. Miller)

Ceramic and Stone

Ceramic and stone flooring have special cleaning and finishing requirements.  We use appropriate cleaning solutions from Johnson Wax Professional and a scrub brush to thoroughly clean textured tiles and to clean the grout lines.

Windows

We wash windows on a schedule of your choosing, from weekly through annually.
